This municipality is made up of two different villages: Teulada, located inland, and Moraira, a seaside town. The history of this area goes back to the Upper Palaeolithic and the Neolithic, the vestiges of which can be found in the Cova de les Cendres cave.
The main monuments or places to visit in the area are the Ermita de la Font Santa chapel, the Church of Santa Catalina, and Teulada’s old town and auditorium. In Moraira you can visit the Cap D’Or castle and watchtower, the fishing port and the Marjal del Senillar, a natural park at L’Ampolla beach.
