Other golf courses near the Mediterranean Sea
There are a plethora of golf courses by the Mediterranean in Alicante, but some showcase other landscapes. An example is Club de Golf Ifach, with its view of the famous Peñón de Ifach limestone rock. It consists of nine holes, six of them par three and three par four. This means that, although the course may be short, it will reward intensity and make the reward for every great shot all the more remarkable. The greens are wide and the course is surrounded by trees, but the sea breeze is noticeable, making it a very pleasant place to be.
One of the most unique clubs is Villaitana Golf, in Benidorm. It is located within the Hotel Meliá complex, with two completely different courses. The Poniente course has 18 holes stretching over 3,858 metres in length. The American style Levante course has 18 holes spread across 6,576 metres.
